Please Note:
The trails will remain open to hikers and bikers during the race. It is your responsibility to keep your head up and give way where necessary. We have you running in the same direction the trail intended so you are going with the flow.
The course will be well marked, but it is your responsibility to know the course.

For 2024 you can now get race registration packaged with our XTERRA Pemberton Trail Run Plan.
Our training plans are created by your race director Kristian Manietta who has been coaching endurance athletes since 2006. Kristian has raced trail races from 10k through to 200 miles. You’ll get a well structured plan that will enable you to enjoy completing the race, while also getting all the tips and tools related to racing the XTERRA Pemberton courses. The 22K plan begins April 1 and the 9K plan begins April 29. Participants will receive an email from Coach Kristian with login access to a detailed plan via Training Peaks every 4 weeks. We have options for novice, intermediate and experienced trail runners.

There are absolutely no refunds, deferrals, or credits issued by ENDURANCE SPECIFIC EVENTS (XTERRA Whistler, XTERRA Pemberton Trail Run, Run Comfy Numb Trail Race) if you cancel your entry for any reason. Please don’t Ask.
You can not defer your race entry to a future year.
You CAN transfer your entry to another person via the transfer link on the registration page (link). There will be a $15 admin fee. Transfers MUST be done by midnight June 7 (2 weeks out from race day).
There are no waitlists.
You can move down in distance until midnight June 14.
No credit or refund for the difference in price if you decide to move down in distance.
You can move up a distance until midnight June 14.
If you want to move up in distance you will have to pay the price difference at the current registration rate.
Refunds can ONLY be processed for anyone who selects the optional Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program. You will have an option to refund through Protecht. Details here.

22km race – There is no cut off time, but this is a challenging course, so please come prepared. If you need to drop out please get to one of our course marshals and we can work on getting you back to the finish area.

The race start and finish is at Den Duyf Park, Pemberton, approximately 30 minutes north of Whistler, 90 minutes from Squamish and 2.5 hours from Vancouver.
Stay on Hwy 99 passing the turn off for the Village of Pemberton and head towards Mt Currie/Lillooet and take a left turn on Pemberton Farm Rd E, follow for a few hundred meters and you’ll see event parking signs.

25km Race;
There will be 4 x aid stations.
#1 On Waco connector before you head up Nimby Trail. Water only + LMNT electrolyte.
#2 At the Paraglide Launch which will have water, LMNT electrolyte, RedBull, fruit and gummies.
#3 An unmanned water only station just before the start of Overnight Sensation.
#4 On the Connector trail after exiting Overnight Sensation. Water, LMNT electrolyte, fruit and gummies
The 9k Race;
There will be 1 x aid station.
#1 On Waco connector just before the Nimby trailhead. Water + LMNT electrolyte.
Aid stations are all cup less. So please bring your own or simply refill your water bottle.
There will be porta potties at the start | finish line.
9k- There are no washrooms on the course.
22k There is a toilet at the paraglide launch at Aid Station #2 which is at the top of “Let It Go Trail”, close to the half way mark.
At this time nothing is mandatory to carry with you. Weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, so please come to Pemberton prepared for anything!
Poles are optional.
Low volume or one ear only. A lot of this trail is single track. You need to be aware of other runners wanting to pass, mountain bikers and wildlife! Pemberton is home to deer, bears and cougars.
Dogs are not allowed to accompany runners on the course. Dogs on leash are allowed at race start and finish.

XTERRA Pemberton has 58 slots for the Half Marathon at the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship in Sugar Loaf Mountain. Qualifiers will be emailed after the race by XTERRA Americas staff with a registration link.
